Omega-3 in omega-6 so nujne za \u017eivljenje, vendar jih telo ne zna samo sintetizirati, zato jih moramo sami vna\u0161ati v telo z dolo\u010deno prehrano ali, kot prehranski dodatek.<\/p>\n<p>Pri odraslih so koristne za veliko stvari. Na primer pomagajo krepiti na\u0161 imunski sistem, pospe\u0161ujejo na\u0161o presnovo, kar posledi\u010dno vpliva na rast mi\u0161i\u010dnega tkiva in izgubo ma\u0161\u010devja, so pomemben strukturni element membran v na\u0161ih celicah, pomembne so tudi za produkcijo hemoglobina in pomagajo pri regeneraciji po telesni aktivnosti. Tako, kot veliko drugih stvari, moramo seveda paziti, da pri vnosu omega-3 in omega-6 ma\u0161\u010dobnih kislin bodisi s hrano ali raznimi dodatki ne u\u017eivamo veliko mastne hrane, kajti to zavira delovanje ma\u0161\u010dobnih kislin.<\/p>\n<p>\u017divila, ki vsebujejo najve\u010d omega-3 in omega-6 ma\u0161\u010dobnih kislin so seveda ribe (od teh imajo najve\u010d klisline tune, sardine, losos,&#8230;) in \u0161koljke, najdemo pa jih tudi v nekaterih rastlinah, na primer v koruzi. Dosti ma\u0161\u010dobnih kislin pa se nahaja tudi v son\u010dni\u010dnem olju, ter v olju oljne repice. Priporo\u010deno je, da \u017eivila u\u017eivate enkrat do dvakrat tedensko.
