Ve\u010dinoma ga najdemo v raznih \u017eve\u010dilnih gumijih, zobnih pastah in ustnih vodicah. Pridobivamo ga iz drevesne skorje evropskih bukev in ve\u010dinoma brez.<\/p>\n<p>Je visoko kakovostni sladkor, ki se ga uporablja, kot prehranski dodatek ali kar nadomestilo kuhinjskim belim ali rjavim sladkorjem.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Xylitol je bolj u\u010dinkovit, kot ostala sinteti\u010dna sladila, saj je dejansko zdrav za zobe. Seveda se \u010dudno sli\u0161i pa vendar je dokazano da brezov sladkor redno in v pravilnih koli\u010dinah zmanj\u0161a zobni karies kar za tretjino, ter ohranja naravno bazi\u010dno okolje v ustni votlini.<\/p>\n<p>Dober je predvsem zato ker ga bakterije, ki se nahajajo med zobmi in v na\u0161i ustni votlini ne morejo prebaviti. Posledi\u010dno bakterije izstradajo in umrejo.<\/p>\n<p>To pomeni, da pomaga tudi prepre\u010diti zobno gnitje, zato se z njim pogosto sre\u010dujemo poleg \u017eve\u010dilnih gumijev tudi v zobnih pastah ter, kot dodatek v ustnih vodicah. \u010ce ho\u010demo, da nam xylitol pomaga pri krepitvi zdravih zob ter ustne votline je priporo\u010deno dnevno zau\u017eiti do 6 gramov brezovega sladkorja.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-medium wp-image-4461\" src=\"https:\/\/www.zdravstvena.info\/preventiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/beli-zobje-225x150.jpg\" alt=\"beli zobje\" width=\"225\" height=\"150\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.zdravstvena.info\/preventiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/beli-zobje-225x150.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.zdravstvena.info\/preventiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/beli-zobje-150x100.jpg 150w, https:\/\/www.zdravstvena.info\/preventiva\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/04\/beli-zobje.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 225px) 100vw, 225px\" \/><br \/>\nPoleg osebne higiene ustne votline pa ga lahko uporabljamo, kot prehransko zamenjavo za navaden kuhinjski sladkor (beli, rjavi).<\/p>\n<p>Brezov sladkor ima pribli\u017eno 33% manj kalorij, kot beli ali rjavi sladkor.<\/p>\n<p>\u010ce \u017eelimo popolnoma zamenjati navaden sladkor za brezov sladkor moramo vedeti, da ga lahko \u017eivilom doziramo v enakem razmerju, kot do sedaj (1:1).<\/p>\n<p>Xylitol lahko uporabljamo, kot dodatek pri sladkanju \u017eivil. \u010ce ho\u010demo narediti na primer kruh ali drugo pecivo, ki potrebuje vzhajano testo se nam to nebo zgodilo, saj testo z vsebnostjo xylitola ne vzhaja. En gram xylitola vsebuje 2,4 kcal (kilokalorije) kar je malo v primerjavi z navadnim sladkorjem, ki vsebuje pribli\u017eno 3,9 kcal.<\/p>\n<p>Ima ekstremno nizek glikemi\u010dni indeks in sicer 7 (splo\u0161no glukoza ima GI okoli 100).<\/p>\n<p>Brezov sladkor ne vsebuje nobenih strupenih ali kancerogenih snovi. Xylitol uporabljajo kot sladilo tudi v farmacevtski industriji.<br \/>\nKot smo \u017ee dejali je treba paziti na dnevni vnos brezovega sladkorja. Najmanj, vsaj 6 gramov moramo zau\u017eiti dnevno, \u010de ho\u010demo da ima na na\u0161e zobe in ustno votlino pozitiven u\u010dinek.<\/p>\n<p>Ni pa priporo\u010dljivo zau\u017eiti ve\u010d, kot 70 gramov na dan, saj le ta lahko povzro\u010di blago drisko.<\/p>\n<p>\u0160tudije poro\u010dajo tudi, da se mora na\u0161e telo na brezov sladkor sprva prilagoditi.
