Nursing grades: student nurse, staff nurse, charge nurse, nurse manager.<\/p>\n

\nThe nurse’s role<\/strong><\/p>\n

The nurses role has changed a lot in recent years. In addition to general patient care, checking temparatures, pulse rates and blood pressures, changing dressings, giving injections and removing stitches, nurses now do some of the things previously reserved for doctors such as prescribing drugs and ordering laboratory tests. More responsibility for nurses is also included.<\/p>\n
